
Women’s Tennis Begins Spring Break Early with Two Matches in Florida

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty women's tennis team (9-4) gets an early start to spring break with two matches this weekend in Florida, taking on FGCU on Friday and meeting USF on Sunday. Friday's match in Fort Myers is set for a 10 a.m. start, while Sunday's tilt in Tampa holds a 1:30 p.m. first serve.
Liberty is coming off a strong outing last weekend despite splitting matches against ETSU (3-4) and sweeping Memphis (5-0).
The Lady Flames look to improve on a 1-6 record against the former ASUN foe, FGCU. Liberty hopes to avenge last season's narrow 4-3 loss at USF. They are 1-3 all-time against the Bulls.
