
Liberty Sweeps Queens 7-0 in Tuesday Matchup

Liberty women's tennis (6-3) dominated Queens (0-7) with a 7-0 sweep, winning all nine matches at the Liberty Indoor Tennis Center on Tuesday morning.
The Lady Flames secured the doubles point with decisive victories across all courts. Daniella O'Neill and Milana Tsulygina opened with a commanding 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles against the Royals' Sofia Benhaddouch and Rachel Bryne. Candy Wai and Celina Joseph followed suit, sweeping Jett Coetzee and Daniela Tomala 6-0 at No. 3 doubles. The sweep was completed by Yoanna Radulova and Maria Turchetto, who delivered a 6-3 win over Mathilde Bris and Zoe Cvitanovic at No. 1 doubles.
Liberty maintained its pace in singles play. Anika Lemus quickly added a point with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Kaila Angeles at No. 6 singles. Joseph further extended the lead by defeating Benhaddouch 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 singles.
Radulova clinched the match for Liberty with a straight-set win, 6-0, 6-3, against Cvitanovic on court one.
The win streak continued with Tsulygina's 6-1, 6-3 victory over Lucy Hogan at No. 3 singles. Turchetto followed with a 6-2, 6-1 performance against Bris at No. 2 singles. Finally, Wai closed out the sweep, defeating Bryne 6-4, 6-1 on court four after trailing 3-4 in the first set, sealing a comprehensive victory for the Lady Flames.
