• Liberty and the Citadel have not met on the diamond since 2017, when the Flames defeated the Bulldogs 9-1 during the Citadel Challenge on Feb. 19, 2017, at Riley Park. All six meetings between the two teams have come at Riley Park.
• The Citadel posted a 31-26 overall record and a 12-9 mark in SoCon play in 2025. The Bulldogs were 21-13 at Riley Park.
