2025 Liberty Men's Soccer Schedule
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty Flames men's soccer team has announced its schedule for the fall of 2025, its final season in the Ohio Valley Conference. Liberty soccer will join the Southern Conference for men's soccer competition in 2026.
The Flames will begin their 2025 season with two away exhibition games. Liberty travels to Virginia Tech on Aug. 8 and High Point on Aug. 16 for exhibition contests to prepare for the 2025 regular season.
Liberty will kick off its 2025 regular season and its seventh under head coach Kelly Findley on Aug. 21 by hosting Regent at Osborne Stadium. Three days later, the Flames will welcome USC Upstate to Osborne Stadium (Aug. 24). Both matches are scheduled for 5 p.m.
Liberty will once again compete in the Ohio Valley Conference in 2025. The eight-team league will be split into two four-team divisions in 2025. Eastern Illinois, Lindenwood, SIUE and Western Illinois will compete in one division and Houston Christian, Incarnate Word, Liberty and Southern Indiana will play in the other division. Each program will play 10 regular-season league games. Each team will face the other teams within their division twice and play members of the other division once. The Flames will host Southern Indiana at Osborne Stadium to begin OVC play on Sept. 27.
Liberty's home schedule will feature 10 regular-season games. In addition to Regent and USC Upstate, the Flames will host Longwood, James Madison and UNCG in non-conference matches at Osborne Stadium in 2025. Liberty's home OVC slate includes contests against Lindenwood, Houston Christian, Incarnate Word and two-time defending OVC Champion SIUE, along with the previously mentioned Southern Indiana.
On the road, Liberty will face 2024 NCAA Tournament Elite 8 participant Wake Forest, Radford and VMI in non-conference matches. In conference, the Flames will travel to Houston Christian, Incarnate Word, Southern Indiana, Eastern Illinois and Western Illinois for OVC road matches.
The OVC Men's Soccer Championship will be held from Nov. 9-15 at Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo. on the campus of Lindenwood University.. The 2025 OVC Championship will open with the quarterfinals on Nov. 9 and the semifinals on Nov. 12. The final will be played on Nov. 15.
