WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Liberty's Jessica Palisca clocked an outdoor personal-best 2:08.97 for fourth place in the women's 800 on Saturday, the final day of the 59th Colonial Relays at Zable Stadium.
With most of its athletes competing at the Florida Relays, Liberty totaled 27 points for 10th place in the Colonial Relays women's standings and earned eight points for a share of 25th place in the men's standings. Bucknell swept the men's and women's team titles.
Racing in a fast section that saw the top two runners break the meet and facility records, Palisca posted a 2:08.97 to shave more than two seconds off her previous outdoor 800 best.
