
Ryan Closes Mason Rudolph Championship with Season-Low Round

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Josh Ryan secured a pair of top-25 finishes for the Flames at the Mason Rudolph Championship thanks to a season-low score on Saturday.
Ryan carded a 5-under par 66 during Liberty's final trip around the Vanderbilt Legends Club (par 71, 7,112 yards), marking his lowest 18-hole score of the season.
The Vanderbilt-hosted tournament was shortened to a two-day event due to forecasted inclement weather on Sunday. The closing few holes of the second round had to be completed during this morning.
After finishing up his second round, Ryan closed out his stay at the Championship by offsetting one bogey with four birdies and an eagle on the par-5, No. 18 hole (527 yards).
Ryan (72-74-66) and Michael Lugiano (69-70-73) paced Liberty during the Championship as the pair of golfers finished the event tied for 22nd place with a 1-under par 212.
Ike Joy followed behind Ryan and Lugiano as he finished tied for 37th place with a 3-over par 216 (74-69-73).
Pascal Gunther, who was competing in the event as an individual, finished tied for 32nd place with a 2-over par 215 (73-72-70). Gunther carded his fifth round at par or better this season thanks to recording a team-best five birdies during the final round.
As a team, Liberty finished the tournament tied for ninth place with a 6-over par 858 (284-286-288).
Auburn, the top ranked team in the field at No. 2, won its third tournament of the season with a winning score of 38-under par 814 (276-270-268).
No. 3 Ole Miss finished five shots behind with a 33-under par 819 (272-272-275), while tournament host and No. 18 ranked Vanderbilt finished in third place with a 27-under par 825 (268-272-285).
