
Colavito, Burrow, Headline Eight Featured in ASUN Postseason Honors

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Midfielder Katie Colavito and defender Jenna Burrow take home the Midfielder and Defensive Player of the Year awards, headlining eight Lady Flames honored with 10 total awards in the 2025 Atlantic Sun Women's Lacrosse Postseason Honors, the conference announced Tuesday.
The Lady Flames share the league lead of eight individuals with Jacksonville. Liberty is second in the conference with 10 total awards, trailing Jacksonville's 13.
Colavito, Burrow and Taiva Reinertson represented Liberty on the All-ASUN first team. The Lady Flames' three first team selections are the second most behind only Jacksonville's six. Colavito, the 2025 ASUN Preseason Midfielder of the Year, receives her second All-ASUN selection after being chosen to the second team last season. Burrow and Reinertson each receive their first selections.
Attacker Mackenzie Lehman, midfielder/draw specialist Ava Menna and defender Madeleine Klunder were recognized on the All-ASUN second team. The Lady Flames placed the second most on the second team, trailing Coastal Carolina with four. Lehman is named to her fourth All-ASUN team with two first team and two second team honors, becoming the first Liberty athlete with four selections to an all-conference team. Klunder was selected to her second All-ASUN team after being named to the first team last season.
Midfielder Olivia Young and defender Ava McGlothlin were each named to the ASUN All-Freshman team. Young was one of six unanimous selections. No team had more than two selected to the All-Freshman team.
Two Lady Flames, Colavito and Lehman, received inclusion on the Academic All-ASUN Team. Both student-athletes receive their first ASUN All-Academic team selection.
No. 2 seed Liberty (10-7, 5-1 ASUN) prepares to take on No. 3 seed Lindenwood (10-5, 3-3 ASUN) on Thursday at 4 p.m. in the semifinal round of the ASUN Women's Lacrosse Championship. Lynchburg, Va., and the Liberty Lacrosse Field will serve as the host site for the championship. All games will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
