Bueno Earns 13th-Place Hammer Finish at Mt. SAC Relays

WALNUT, Calif. – Liberty All-American Paola Bueno finished 13th in a loaded elite women's hammer competition, Saturday at the Mt. SAC Relays.
Bueno's top mark of 208-9 came on her first of three attempts. It took a 215-7 to reach the nine-person final on Saturday, superior to Bueno's program record of 212-8 from earlier this season.
Reigning Olympic champion Camryn Rogers of Canada won the competition with a 256-4 bomb, while NCAA leader Lara Roberts from Texas State took second at 232-10.

Liberty will close out the month of April with a pair of meets, including the Charlotte Invitational (April 25-26) and Virginia High Performance (April 27 in Charlottesville).
