Liberty Routs Radford 6-1 for Second Consecutive Victory

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lady Flames (3-3) made a statement on Saturday, picking up a 6-1 triumph over Radford (0-2) Saturday afternoon. Celina Joseph dominated with a 6-0, 6-0 singles victory, while four Lady Flames picked up two wins on the day.
Liberty grabbed two out of three doubles matches with commanding wins on courts two (6-1) and one (6-3). Anika Lemus picked up a win via retirement on court four, while Celina Joseph cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 victory in the No. 5 singles match. Sadie Daavettila held on to secure the match-clinching fourth point on court six with a 6-1, 7-5 triumph.
The final three singles matches all entered a super tiebreak, with the Lady Flames coming out on top in two. Chen (court one) and Radulova (court two) each picked up their second consecutive singles victory.
The Lady Flames improve to 18-7 all-time against Radford and extend its winning streak to 14 matches. Liberty earns its first set of back-to-back victories this season.
