
Women’s Tennis Heads to North Carolina for Trio of Matchups

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty women's tennis team (4-6) looks forward to an opportunity to gain momentum this season with three matches in three days this weekend. The Lady Flames meet UNC Charlotte (9-2) on Friday, play a neutral site match against No. 64 Tulane on Saturday and a meeting with UNC Greensboro (2-7) on Sunday. All matches are set to begin at 1 p.m.
The squad is coming off a 1-1 trip with a 5-2 neutral site win over Miami (OH) (Feb. 21) and a 7-0 loss to No. 36 Nebraska on Feb. 22. The Lady Flames kicked off a stretch of seven consecutive road matches last weekend.
The Lady Flames look to even the all-time series against Charlotte, currently 3-4. They look to gain the advantage in an all-time 3-3 series facing Greensboro. Liberty will be meeting Tulane for the first time in program history.
