In preparation for Liberty's final game of the 2025 season, Liberty Head Football Coach Jamey Chadwell met with the media on Tuesday.
Â
During the media session, Chadwell provided his final thoughts on Liberty's 34-28 setback against LA Tech, plus he looked ahead to this week's game against Kennesaw State.
Â
After Chadwell's weekly presser, seniors Harrison Hayes and Elijah Auguste talked about Senior Day with the media from the Media Room inside the Liberty Football Center.
Â
The Flames will look to halt a three-game losing streak, which has seen all three setbacks come in either the final minute of regulation or overtime.
Â
Saturday's matchup will mark the fifth Liberty-Kennesaw State clash in the Owls' 11 football seasons all-time. The two teams have split their four previous meetings.
Â
Liberty is 3-2 in home games at Williams Stadium this season and is looking to wrap up a winning home record for the 20th consecutive season. The Flames are 98-23 at home since the start of the 2006 campaign.
Â
Jamey Chadwell is 25-12 in his third year at Liberty and owns a 56-18 coaching record dating back to the start of 2020. His next victory will be No. 125 of his 16-year head coaching career.
Â
Running back Evan Dickens has recorded four straight 100-yard rushing games for the first time in his career, including a pair of 200-yard efforts. The first-year Flame has rushed for 678 yards and eight touchdowns during November, pushing him over the 1,000 mark (1,072 yards) for the season. He now ranks No. 6 nationally for rushing yards per game (107.2).
Â
Kicker Jay Billingsley has connected on 12-of-13 field goal attempts over the last six games, including eight makes in a row. His 15 field goals made are tied for fourth most in a season in program history.
