Liberty Earns WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll Special Mention

LYNCHBURG, Va. – For the third season in a row, the Liberty women's basketball team has earned special mention on the WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll. The Lady Flames garnered the recognition due to their 3.296 team GPA during the 2023-24 academic year.
Ten of Liberty's 14 players recorded GPAs of 3.0 or higher in 2023-24, led by Ella Wigal's 4.0. Emma Hess earned spots on both the CSC Academic All-District Team and CUSA All-Academic Team.
Liberty has appeared on the WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll six times in program history, including 1998-99, 1999-2000, 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08 and 2015-16.
