
Moran Goes 7 as Liberty Completes Sweep of Sam Houston 9-3

Moran gave up three runs, all unearned, on six hits over a career-high seven innings to record the win. The left-hander struck out seven and did not walk a batter.
Catcher Macaddin Dye had two hits and belted his third home run of the season for Liberty. He drove in three runs and scored one. Flames second baseman Aidan Sweatt joined Dye with two hits and three RBI in the contest. The infielder also scored twice.
Liberty left fielder Brayden Horton also had two hits, including his fifth home run of the year. He also scored twice.
With the conference sweep, Liberty moves to 5-1 in CUSA and 13-14 overall. Sam Houston drops to 3-6 in conference play and 17-12 overall.
