Liberty field hockey fifth-year senior Reagan Underwood has been named to the 2024 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Senior Team.
Underwood is one of 38 honorees from 32 different institutions on the NFHCA Senior Team. The NFHCA provides a select group of student-athletes with the opportunity to be recognized and celebrated for their outstanding senior performances. College seniors are nominated by their NFHCA member coaches and selected by a NFHCA committee each fall. This honor reflects not only their performances throughout the senior season also their enduring impact on and off the field.
Underwood wrapped up her highly successful five-year Liberty career this fall. The midfielder from Sinking Spring, Pa was an All-BIG EAST first team honoree this season, her second straight first team all-conference nod.
Liberty has featured three NFHCA Senior Team selections in the last two seasons. Last year, Azul Iritxity Irigoyen and Bethany Dykema garnered inclusion on the listing. Underwood's twin sister, American fifth-year senior goalkeeper Bryn Underwood is on this year's NFHCA Senior Team as well.
