Freece Named ASUN Co-Diver of the Week

Liberty senior Maddie Freece has been named Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) Co-Women's Diver of the Week.
Freece shares the honor with FGCU's Bailey Betzer.
A native of Lansdale, Pa., Freece receives her program-record eighth career conference diver of the week honor. She was named CCSA Diver of the Week five times, and this is her third ASUN Diver of the Week award.
Freece, a three-time conference diver of the year, began her senior season with a standout performance at home, helping Liberty defeat Tulane in its cancer awareness meet.
She won one-meter diving with a score of 239.70, the best one-meter diving score of any Lady Flame so far this season. That total was over 10 points clear of the second-place diver in the event. Freece was also Liberty's top diver on three-meter at the Tulane meet, earning 222.68 points to finish second to Tulane's Paige McKenzie.
The Lady Flames host James Madison on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Liberty Natatorium. The meet will air live on ESPN+.
