BUDAPEST, Hungary – Liberty's Omari Lewis and Revell Webster helped Trinidad and Tobago's men's 4 x 100 relay team finish 12th in the semifinal round, Friday at the World Athletics Championships at the National Athletics Centre. Trinidad and Tobago failed to qualify for Saturday's final.
Lewis (first leg) and Webster (third leg) joined Jerod Elcock and Devin Augustine in posting a time of 38.89 for fifth in their heat and 12th overall. It marked the World Athletics Championship debuts for both Lewis and Webster.
Lewis wraps up a successful first collegiate track & field season which saw him race to the ASUN title in both the indoor 60 and outdoor 100. Webster will join the Flames' roster for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
