Liberty’s Felix Lawrence competed in both hurdles events, Friday at the Mt. SAC Relays. His top performance on the Flames’ first day of action at Hilmer Lodge Stadium was an 11th-place showing in the men’s 400 hurdles.
The defending ASUN men’s 110 and 400 hurdles champion, Lawrence competed in his first 400 hurdles race in a Liberty uniform this season. His 53.00 clocking was good for 11th place of 31 competitors and ranks second behind teammate Rayan Holmes in the ASUN Conference this season.
Earlier in the day, Lawrence ran 14.47 for 18th place in the 110 hurdles prelims but failed to qualify for the event final.
