
Lady Flames Bounce Back, Down UNC 5-1

Liberty rallied from a 1-0 deficit, defeating North Carolina 5-1 on Wednesday at Anderson Stadium.
The Lady Flames (17-10) bounced back from a loss at Duke last night, as Liberty has won 16 out of its last 17 games. The Tar Heels fall to 11-19 on the season.

- Liberty responded in the fifth, scoring an unearned run of its own. Wilson led off the sixth with a double and scored the go-ahead run on a single by Craine. Howard drove in Lilly Heidorn for a 3-1 lead before Fortner’s two-run homer made it 5-1 in the seventh.
