The No. 18 Southern Miss Golden Eagles defeated the Liberty Flames 7-2, Sunday in their series finale at Pete Taylor Park.
Liberty catcher Gray Betts went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Right fielder Camden Troyer hit his first home run of the season for the Flames.
Liberty drops to 0-3. Southern Miss moves to 3-0.
