
Stamps Named ASUN Diver of the Week

Following a standout meet at James Madison, Liberty freshman Caroline Stamps has been named ASUN Women's Diver of the Week.
Stamps receives her first career ASUN Women's Diver of the Week award. The Lady Flames have received diver of the week honors after both of their meets so far this season, as Mary Herndon was named ASUN Diver of the Week on Oct. 3.
A native of Oconee County, Ga., Stamps made a major impact in Liberty's 162-138 win over 2023 CCSA runner-up James Madison on Friday.
She turned in Liberty's best diving result of the season to date, scoring a season-high 271.35 points to take second place in three-meter diving. Then, Stamps scored 229.13 points on one-meter, finishing ninth.
The freshman now ranks sixth on Liberty's all-time Top 10 performers list on three-meter springboard (271.35).
Liberty's next competition will be a two-day dual meet at ASUN opponent UNC Asheville, Oct. 27-28.
