
Liberty and Southern Indiana Play to 1-1 Tie

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Liberty Flames and the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles played to a 1-1 tie in an Ohio Valley Conference match Sunday afternoon at Straussweg Field.
With solid defensive efforts from both teams, each team struggled to organize an offensive attack throughout the contest.
Liberty held possession throughout much of the contest and broke through for its lone goal late in the first. Gabe Findley scored during the 44th minute for a 1-0 advantage.
However, host Southern Indiana found the equalizer with less than two minutes left to knot the game.
The Flames move to 3-2-1 in OVC play and 8-4-1 overall. The Screaming Eagles move to 0-3-3 in the OVC action and 1-9-3 overall.
