Liberty Notables
- After two consecutive road games, Liberty returns to Osborne Stadium to start ASUN Conference play against Bellarmine on Saturday and host Davidson in a non-conference match on Tuesday.
- Liberty and Bellarmine will meet for the fourth time in program history on Saturday. The two teams have only met as members of the ASUN Conference. The first three meetings were decided by one goal and won by the host team. The Knights defeated the Flames 2-1 last fall in Louisville, Ky.
- Playing for the first time in the state of California for the first time in program history, the Flames fell to No. 4 UCLA 5-2 this past Friday.
For the first time since 2001, the Flames faced nationally ranked teams in back-to-back matches when they played No. 20 Maryland (tie 1-1) and No. 4 UCLA (loss 5-2) last week.
- Midfielder Seth Clark and forward Gora Gora each scored their first goals of the season at UCLA on Friday.
- Bryce Swinehart and Marko Mitrevski lead Liberty in scoring with four points. Swinehart leads the Flames with two goals. Mitrevski, who leads Liberty with two assists, has at least one point in each of the Flames' three contests.
- Liberty has scored six goals and allowed six goals through the season’s first three games. Besides Swinehart and Mitrevski, Flames Gora Gora, Seth Clark and Luke Eberle have also scored a goal.
- Danny Coredo and Blake Franzen have split Liberty's goalkeeping duties, each playing a half in the first three contests. The two have combined to make eight saves and have each allowed three.
- On Tuesday, Liberty and Davidson will meet for the 10th time in program history. The Wildcats hold a 6-3 lead in the all-time series. The last time the two met, Liberty won 1-0 at Davidson during the Spring 2021 season.
- Liberty Head Coach Kelly Findley spent one season as an associate head coach at Davidson in 20018.
