Liberty Notables
- The Flames return home Friday to take on conference rival Central Arkansas for their last regular season home game.
- Before Friday night's match, the Flames will recognize four seniors Mateo Alzate, Filip Burnett, Danny Cordero and Marko Mitrevski during pre-game ceremonies.
- Liberty enters the weekend in sixth place in the ASUN Conference standings with a1-2-2 mark. Central Arkansas is second in the standings with a conference record of 4-1-1.
- Liberty enters Friday's contest with a 3-1-2 home record. The Flames shutout VMI 4-0 in their last home game on Oct. 11. The Flames have outscored their opponents 11-4 at home this season.
- Last Saturday, Georgia State bested the Flames 2-1 in their last non-conference regular season game of the 2022 season.
Marko Mitrevski scored his fourth goal of the season at Georgia State. With the goal, the midfielder has netted a goal in each of the Flames’ last two games.
- Liberty leading scorer Luke Eberle assisted Mitrevski's goal. The forward now has six goals, two assists and 14 points. He is tied for second in the ASUN in goals and third in assists.
- Mitrevski and Seth Cark follow Eberle. Mitreveski has four goals, four assists, and 12 points. Clark has three goals, three assists, and nine points.
- Marko Mitrevski leads the Flames in assists and is second on the team with 12 points (4 a, 4 goals). The senior is third in the ASUN Conference in assists.
- Seth Clark follows behind Mitrevski with nine points. The junior has three goals and three assists on the year.
Blake Franzen and Danny Cordero have each spent time in the Liberty net this season. The two have combined for four shutouts.
- Franzen started the last match versus Georgia State. The sophomore has recored a 1.60 GAA and a .647 save percentage.
- Cordero has played in six games this season and has recored a .750 save percentage, .89 GAA, and two shutouts.
- Liberty and Central Arkansas will meet on Friday for the second time in program history. The two teams met for the first time in 2021, with the Bears defeating the Flames 3-1 in Conway, Ark.
