The Liberty Flames rode two first half goals to a 2-1 victory over the No. 21 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, Saturday night at CCU Soccer Complex.
Seth Clark scored his fourth goal of the season and Noah Holmes netted his second of the year to give the Flames a 2-0 lead at halftime.
Liberty's defense limited Coastal Carolina to nine shots in the contest, with five on goal. Flames goalkeeper Danny Cordero made four saves, including three in the second half.
Liberty finishes its regular season with a 7-3-2 overall. Coastal Carolina, the Sun Belt Conference champions, drops to 9-4-2.
