The Liberty Flames and the Lipscomb Bisons battled to a 0-0 tie in an ASUN Conference match at Lipscomb Soccer Complex, Sunday afternoon.
For the fourth consecutive match, all ASUN contests, Liberty had a match go into overtime and has now had five contests go into overtime this season.
Liberty goalkeeper Danny Cordero, the reigning ASUN Defensive Player of the Week, made three saves over the 110 minutes, as he and the Flames recorded their eighth shutout of the year.
Liberty finishes ASUN Conference divisional play at 1-2-1 and are 6-2-2 overall. Lipscomb moves to 1-1-1 in ASUN action and 5-3-2 overall.
