
Liberty Falls to No 7 LSU, 4-3, on Walk-Off Double

Liberty led the No. 7 LSU Tigers 3-0 following an Amber Bishop-Riley homer in the top of the fifth. However, LSU rallied to tie it in the fifth before Amanda Doyle hit a walk-off RBI double to secure the 4-3 comeback for the Tigers, Saturday at Alabama's Rhoads Stadium.
LSU improves to 4-1 on the season, while the Lady Flames fall to 6-2, including 0-2 at this weekend's Bama Bash. Liberty fell 6-3 to No. 5 Alabama last night and takes on the Crimson Tide again today.

Turning Point
- With Liberty leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, LSU loaded the bases with one out via two walks and a single. Keeney came on in relief of Wagoner, striking out Sunseri and getting Briggs to pop out to end the inning and maintain a 1-0 lead.
- The Lady Flames tacked on two runs in the top of the fifth on a two-our blast by Amber Bishop-Riley.
- LSU loaded the bases again in the fifth, with nobody out. Clark and Sunseri hit back-to-back sacrifice flies, narrowing the deficit to 3-2. Briggs then hit a game-tying two-out single.
- Pleasants led off the bottom of the seventh with a single before Doyle came through with the walk-off double.
