The Liberty Flames sailed by the visiting Niagara Purple Eagles 3-0, Friday night at Osborne Stadium.
The Flames held possession for most of the night, outshooting the Purple Eagles, 16-4. Shalom Dutey put Liberty on the scoreboard in the first half, and Tresor Mbuyu netted two goals in the second half for the Flames.
Liberty moves to 3-2 on the season. The victory snaps a two-game losing skid. Niagara drops to 1-4.

Turning Point
Up 1-0 early in the second half, midfielder Shaun Stocker lofted a long pass from midfield into the left side of the 18-yard box for Mbuyu. The forward settled it at his feet and scored during the 50th minute to put the Flames up 2-0.
