Liberty's Offense Shines in Win Over Stetson

From start to finish, Liberty women's soccer dominated its match Sunday at home against Stetson. Two first half goals from the Lady Flames gave them the 2-0 shutout win over the Hatters to improve to 3-3 in the ASUN Conference and 4-10 overall.

"I think we played really good soccer today. Our passing was very good, our movement off the ball was good and we created a lot of chances today and we talked a lot about that leading up to this game. We have wanted to try and play a possession-oriented game and today our girls really came out and did a good job with that intent in mind."

Liberty will return continue its homestand to close out the season next week starting on Friday, Oct. 19, against Jacksonville. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Osborne Stadium.
