Midfielder Jovanni Chavez scored three goals and had one assist for seven points, the most by a Flame since Darren Amoo scored eight points with four goals in a 7-0 Liberty victory over Southern Virginia on Oct. 22, 2010. In addition it is the first time since Sept. 20, 2011 that a Liberty player has scored three goals in a match, when Travis Joseph scored three markers in a 9-0 win over Southern Virginia.
Midfielder Pepe Segarra netted a goal and added an assist, while Tresor Mbuyu scored his second goal of the season in the road victory.
Martin Agredo, Kevin Mendoza and Rigoberto Rojas each assisted on a goal, Tuesday. All three have two helpers apiece on the season.
In his second game as a Liberty Flame, goalkeeper James Knoebel made four saves, while playing all 90 minutes of the win. In two games, Knoebel has posted a 1.00 goals-against average and a .778 save percentage.
Head Coach Jeff Alder, a Liberty alum, is in his 16th season of leading the Flames. Liberty is 146-111-23 during his tenure.
A Look at William & Mary
With a win over No. 21 Coastal Carolina, 2-1, Sunday, William & Mary split its home opening weekend and looks to build off of a win as they head to Lynchburg. The Tribe bounced back after falling to George Washington, against Coastal Carolina.

Phil Breno has played every minute in goal this season. He has a 1.50 goals-against-average and four saves.
In his 12th season at William & Mary, Chris Norris has posted a 107-91-32 record.
The Series
