The 2016 CCSA Swimming & Diving Championships continue, with day two under way at Georgia's Gabrielsen Natatorium. Tonight's evening session starts at 6 p.m. with the women's 500 freestyle C final.
Liberty earned 13 finals swims for this evening's programs, including seven A finalists, three B finalists and three C finalists.
Kendall Hough earned the top seed in qualifying for the 50 free in lifetime-best and NCAA B cut time of 22.74. Rachel Hoeve (third - 23.00) and Ricki Lee Hodges (seventh - 23.57) both swam lifetime bests to make the A final. Chelsea Pond's 23.90 qualified her 18th for the C final.
Kristin VanDeventer qualified fourth in the 500 free, in 4:52.52, while Alicia Finnigan swam a lifetime-best 4:57.68 for seventh. The Lady Flames also finished 12th, 13th and 14th, in Ashlee Sall (lifetime-best 5:00.50), Hannah Wakeley (5:02.24) and Elizabeth Magnusson (lifetime-best 5:02.88)
Prudence Rooker and Victoria Tschoke were sixth and seventh in 200 IM prelims, with Rooker clocking a lifetime-best 2:02.37 and Tschoke swimming 2:03.03. Morgan Noonan made the C final in lifetime-best 2:06.20, while Ranndi Grubbs was 23rd in 2:07.29.
Tonight's finals will feature pool-side, live blog coverage as the Lady Flames compete in Athens. Look for coverage to begin shortly before the 6 p.m. finals start with an interactive blog, where all are invited to interact with questions and comments.

Scoring
For the second year in a row, there will be three scored finals (A, B & C) of each individual event at the women's CCSA Championship, with 24 individuals scoring.
