CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Award Official Release
The Liberty swimming & diving team excelled in the classroom during the fall 2015 semester, earning College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team honors.
The CSCAA announced its Scholar All-America Team awards, which were received by 547 college and university swimming & diving teams spanning NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA. In order to qualify for the award, a team must have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the previous semester.
The Lady Flames posted a 3.47 team GPA in the fall of 2015. Liberty's GPA is the highest in program history for a single semester, eclipsing the 3.37 that the Lady Flames earned during the fall 2014 semester. Liberty is one of six Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) teams to appear on the most recent Scholar All-America Team list.
Dating back to the fall of 2011, Liberty has now received CSCAA academic honors during each of the past nine semesters.
