Catching Up with Jodi Murphy

Prior to the Liberty field hockey team's departure on Tuesday, Nick Pierce of the Liberty Flames Sports Network had a chance to catch up with head coach Jodi Murphy earlier this evening.
Murphy provided some insight on what the team will be doing while in Virginia Beach from Aug. 11-21 and how the squad will be preparing for the exhibitions against North Carolina (Aug. 15) and William & Mary (Aug. 23).
Murphy also provided an update on the new field hockey turf and when the team can expect to take to the new field for the first time during the 2015 season.
The Lady Flames kick off their 2015 regular season campaign on Aug. 28 with a home opener against James Madison at 5 p.m.
