LFSN Fall Softball Update with Dot Richardson

As the fall softball season continues, LFSN reporter Alan York had a chance to interview third-year Head Coach Dot Richardson.
The Lady Flames posted an 18-win improvement over the 2014 season, going 29-30 last year. Liberty adds a freshman class of 12 student-athletes to the returning group of players. Three all-conference players return from a year ago, in redshirt senior Chandler Ball and sophomores Alexia Taylor and Tori Zavodny. Additionally, Taylor was named Big South Freshman of the Year in 2015.
Liberty concludes its fall season this weekend with a pair of home doubleheaders. The Lady Flames will host Richard Bland College on Friday, with game one starting at 5 p.m. The squad will then welcome James Madison to Liberty Softball Stadium on Saturday for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
