
Liberty Places 13th in Medley Relay at Phillips 66 National Championships

Liberty's 4 X 100 meter medley relay placed 13th during Saturday's evening finals at the 2014 Phillips 66 USA Swimming National Championships, held at William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Complex in Irvine, Calif.
The Lady Flames' relay, consisting of seniors Meghan Babcock and Emily Duff, along with junior Ranndi Grubbs and sophomore Morgan Noonan, placed 13th out of 16 teams overall, with a time of 4:22.51. Duff led off in 1:08.37, while Noonan swam the second leg in 1:12.93. Grubbs followed with a 1:03.08 third leg, and Babcock clocked 58.13 to anchor the relay to a fourth-place finish in the first of three heats contested.
Texas won the 4 X 100 meter medley relay in 4:07.73, followed by Missouri in second place with a time of 4:09.07.
