Lady Flames Tip Off Preseason Practice

The Liberty women's basketball team conducted its first official practice for the upcoming 2014-15 season Sunday afternoon, splitting its time between the newly renovated Vines Center and the Lady Flames' practice facility.
Liberty returns four starters and 87.3 percent of its scoring from the 2013-14 squad, which went 20-11. Head coach Carey Green's team will also be bolstered by the return of redshirt senior post player Jasmine Gardner from injury and the addition of redshirt senior guard Karly Buer, a transfer from Missouri State.
The Lady Flames will tip off the 2014-15 campaign with a three-game homestand, beginning Nov. 14 against Charlotte at 6 p.m.
