After the Liberty women's basketball team captured its 15th Big South Championship title in the last 17 years, the Flames Sports Network's Alan York caught up with head coach Carey Green.
Last week, the top-seeded Lady Flames defeated No. 9 seed Gardner-Webb (78-61), No. 5 seed Campbell (70-56) and No. 7 seed Longwood (54-45) to cut down the nets at The HTC Center.
Liberty (27-6) will enter its 15th NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship appearance on a 14-game winning streak. The selection show will be televised on ESPN, Monday at 7 p.m. The Lady Flames' opening game in the NCAA Tournament will be played either March 23 or 24.
