The Liberty swimming team has posted a 3-0 dual-meet record to open the 2011-12 campaign. Most recently, the Lady Flames defeated Campbell, 151-11, on Friday in Buies Creek, N.C.
LibertyFlames.com's Nick Pierce caught up with second-year head coach Jake Shellenberger for an interview. The interview covered the Lady Flames' 3-0 start, along with season highlights and a look toward the upcoming Radford Invitational.
Liberty will next compete at the Radford Invitational, hosted at the Dedmon Center Natatorium in Radford, Va., Nov. 17-19. The Radford Invitational will serve as a preview of the CCSA conference meet format, and will close out Liberty's fall swimming schedule.
