
Lady Flames Fall to Lady Dukes

For the second day in a row Jordan Jenkins and Nadia Solomon-Burgess each won in singles, but the Liberty Lady Flames did not benefit, dropping a 5-2 decision to the James Madison Lady Dukes in a match played Saturday at the Greenbriar Resort.
James Madison took all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead.
In singles, Jenkins and Solomon-Burgess recorded victories for the second consecutive day at the Greenbriar Resort. Both Liberty seniors each won their singles matches Friday over West Virginia opponents. Jenkins won 6-2, 6-0 over Katherine Bulling at No. 1 singles. In No. 2 singles, Solomon-Burgess won 7-6, 2-6, 1-0 over Kinsey Pate.
In the lower spots in the singles line-up, the Lady Dukes won each of the four matches to clinch the 5-2 overall match victory
