Despite wins in singles by Jordan Jenkins and Nadia Solomon-Burgess, the Liberty Lady Flames dropped a 5-2 decision to the West Virginia Mountaineers in a match played Friday at the Greenbriar Resort.
West Virginia opened the contest by taking two of the three doubles matches for a 1-0 advantage. Jenkins and her doubles partner Hannah Fick picked up the Lady Flames doubles win, downing Stephanie LaFortune and Monique Burton in the No. 1 contest, 8-2.
