Liberty-Winthrop Second-Round Game Halted

The No. 3 Lady Flames' second-round game against No. 2 seed Winthrop in the Big South Softball Championship presented by Texas Roadhouse has been halted, due to inclement weather. The scoreless game, currently in the bottom of the second inning, will resume Friday morning at 10 a.m. The Eagles are up to bat with a runner on second and nobody out.
Liberty picked up a first-round win earlier in the day, defeating No. 6 Coastal Carolina, 4-2.
Other games scheduled for Friday will be pushed back two hours, and the new schedule is as follows:
10 a.m.: Game 4: No. 3 Liberty vs. No. 2 Winthrop
Noon: Game 5: No. 4 Charleston Southern vs. No. 6 Coastal Carolina
2 p.m.: Game 6: No. 5 Gardner-Webb vs. Game 4 loser
4 p.m.: Game 7: No. 1 Radford vs. Game 4 winner
6 p.m.: Game 8: Game 5 winner vs. Game 6 winner
8 p.m.: Game 9: Game 8 winner vs. Game 7 loser
