Jenkins Moves into BJK Final

Liberty's Jordan Jenkins has advanced to the final of the Flight B singles tomorrow, at the prestigious Billie Jean King National Tennis Center Women's Collegiate Invitational.
Playing at the National Tennis Center, site of the U.S. Open, Jenkins won each of her three Flight B singles matches to move into tomorrow's final against the No. 2 seed, Elizabeth Epstein of Yale. The contest is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
Jenkins, who has not lost a singles match this fall, opened her run to the 16-player bracket final with two victories on Saturday. In her opening contest, Jenkins defeated No. 4 seed Rachel Salontz of Princeton in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2. The junior followed up the victory, by defeating Valerie Behr of UNC Greensboro, 6-2, 6-0, in the afternoon.
Today, Jenkins captured her semifinal match against No. 1 seed Casey Herzberg from Brown in three sets, 6-1, 4-6, 10-6, to advance to tomorrow morning's final.
