Liberty women's basketball fans will get the chance to run a fast break with their favorite Lady Flames, through a new question-and-answer series. Each Wednesday for the remainder of the 2007-08 season, fans will get to know one player better with a set of quick questions. The series continues today with junior forward Rebecca Lightfoot.
What has been your favorite class during your time at Liberty? "Women's Role in the Ministry"
What is your favorite Bible verse? I don't have just one, but some would be Psalm 37:23, Ephesians 5:8-10 and Psalm 18:1
What is Coach Green's favorite word or phrase? Cerebral
What road trip are you most looking forward to this season? The last trip to Asheville, North Carolina because I love North Carolina and it is beautiful there, and also because that will mean it is time for us to earn back our title in the Big South Tournament.
How many pairs of shoes do you own? At least 35
How many hours per week do you spend on the Internet? Around four
What team do you consider to be the Lady Flames' biggest rival? High Point
What one possession couldn't you live without? My Bible
What is your favorite shot in basketball? The free throw to complete a three-point play
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? Pralines and cream
Who is the best player you have ever faced? Los Angeles Sparks guard (and Georgia alumnus) Sherill Baker because of how quick she was, even in high school
Who is your favorite author? Francine Rivers and C.S. Lewis
What is your dream car? Chevy Tahoe or a black '67 Corvette
What is your favorite season of the year? Easily fall into winter
What is your favorite sport to play (other than basketball)? Volleyball, disc golf and flag football
What is your favorite sport to watch (other than basketball)? College football, pro golf and Little League baseball
What is your career high for points (at any level)? 39
What was your all-time best Halloween costume? A twinkie
How many hours does it take you to get home from LU? I have made the drive in 5 hours and 46 minutes, and that was with a detour.
