Theresa Hoinsky joins the Lady Flames’ staff this season as the team’s athletic trainer. An Assistant Athletic Trainer at Liberty, Hoinsky also works with the cheerleading program.
Although she hails from California, Hoinsky has become very familiar with Liberty. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate education on Liberty Mountain and gained athletic training experience working with the Flames football team.
Hoinsky spent 20 months interning with the Liberty football team and then 15 months as one of the program’s Assistant Athletic Trainers.
Hoinsky earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Liberty in 2008. She then completed her master of education degree at Liberty in 2011. Hoinsky is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
