Joseph Dean assumed his role as Flames Club Associate in May 2025.
In his current role, Dean leads event setup and teardown logistics for home and select away game operations. He supervises a team of 70-plus ambassadors in parking and hospitality functions, ensuring efficient game day operation. He also assists in managing timekeeping, payrolling and shift scheduling systems for hourly employees. Dean participates in the hiring process for parking attendants and the captain positions, including interviews and candidate evaluation. He also executes errand and special tasks for senior leadership, supporting operational efficiency. Some of Dean’s other tasks include: point of contact for interns, coordination of donor tailgate events, year-round donor event support, annual fund initiatives, donor research and benefit fulfillment activities.
Dean has been involved with the Flames Club in various capacities since 2023: Flames Club Ambassador (Aug. 2023-May 2025), Flames Club Summer Associate (May-Aug.2024) and Flames Club Parking Captain (Aug. 2024-May 2025).
Dean is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Liberty, which he expects to complete in May 2026.
Originally from Mechanicsville, Va., Dean currently resides in Lynchburg with his wife Amarah.
