Women's Basketball

- Title:
- Office Administrator
Monica Lacey has served as the office administrator for the Liberty women’s basketball program since arriving on campus in March 2002. In that capacity, she is responsible for a wide range of issues, including budget, intercampus relations and Coach Green’s schedule.
Lacey came to Liberty after working as the administrative assistant for recruiting at her alma mater, Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Wis. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in office administration in 2001.
“Working in the women’s basketball office for almost five years has never been boring,” remarked Lacey. “I love how my responsibilities change with the seasons and how each year brings new faces. I thoroughly enjoy my co-workers and see our office as a place where people truly love and care about each other.”
“Monica operates at the ‘control center’ of our program and does a tremendous job assisting with and managing our daily operations,” remarked head coach Carey Green. “She has the gift of hospitality. She has always been the behind-the-scenes key to our program’s success. I am blessed to have such a caring, loving, serving heart at the ‘control center.’”
Lacey and her husband, Brandon, reside in the Lynchburg area and the couple is expecting its first child in May 2007.
