Made improvements in all three of her events during the outdoor campaign, lowering her 800 time from 2:34.31 to 2:26.39, her 1,500 clocking from 5:04.22 to 4:57.71 and her 5K time from 18:51.45 to 18:37.40. Her first sub-5:00 1,500 (4:57.71) came at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic.

What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
I knew I wanted to come to Liberty, and it was the only school I applied to. I wanted to run in college but was not fast enough for Liberty at the time, so I was very torn but the Lord gave me peace about the decision. I later got the opportunity to walk on the team, and am so in awe of the Lord’s faithfulness! Being on this team is the biggest blessing!

What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
Breaking 19 in the 5k for the first time at High Point. My fiancé surprised me there, and face-timed my parents during the race and they got to see it! The love and support from my team was amazing!

Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
Dinner, because you can have anything. You can have breakfast or lunch for dinner, but dinner for lunch is weird. My favorite dinner is homemade gnocchi with a creamy pesto sauce that my fiancé and I make together.

What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
The weather app.

Do you have any current pets (name and type of animal)?
I have a chihuahua named Jasper! She is the cutest, sweetest dog I have ever met!

What is your Go-To karaoke song?
Anything High School Musical.

What is your dream vacation spot and why?
Staying in a hut on the water in Bora Bora. I love sharks so being able to see them from my house would be the biggest dream! Also being able to wake up and jump straight in the water would be amazing!
