Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
I wanted to be a part of a highly competitive Christian athletic program. One that would challenge me to grow as both a person and an athlete.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
I always write Luke 18:27 either on my arm or leg before I compete. This helps me remember that what is impossible for man is made possible with God.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
Ashley Jones inspires me because of the great adversity she has overcome during high school and how her faith grew stronger after all the trials she faced.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
After not being able to run competitively for more than 5 years due to a tumor in my hip, the most memorable moment was the state cross country meet my senior year, which was also my first cross country season running since 7th grade.
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
My favorite meal is a spaghetti and meatballs dinner.
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
I check my iMessages first.
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
Pickleball and art.
Do you have any current pets (name and type of animal)?
I have a cat named Cloudy.
Who was your favorite athlete growing up?
Sydney Mclaughlin
What is your favorite possession and why?
A ring that my parents gave me on my 13th birthday.
What is your Go-To karaoke song?
I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston
What is your dream vacation spot and why?
Santorini Greece, I have always wanted to go there since I was little. I love the blue and white buildings and the beautiful water.
