Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
Liberty University was the perfect place for me because it gave me the chance to continue my softball career while being around people who care for me and will help me grow deeper in my faith. Knowing I will be guided by amazing mentors who will help me chase my dreams and help me grow on the field is the greatest blessing.

Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My mom is my greatest inspiration. Everyday she shows me and shows me what it means to work hard, be kind, and never give up. My mom has always pushed me to the best version of myself in every part of life. She is the strongest person I know and the greatest role model for me.

What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
My freshman year of basketball playing with my sister Paige I threw the ball overhand past half court. Paige caught the ball and made a reverse lay in buzzer beater to win the game.

Do you have any relatives who are playing or have played college or professional sports? (Names, relation to you, what/where they played)?
My mom, Melissa Dorman caught at the University of Oregon. Abby Doerr my sister, played at the University of Alabama and Oregon State University. My sister, Paige Dorman, played at Oregon State University and now is now playing here at Liberty. My Dad, Richard Dorman, played at Oregon State University and Corban University, then getting drafted by the Tampa Bays and finishing his professional career for the Mariners.
