Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
I know that Liberty University is the right place for me because they have an awesome program with awesome coaches, and I have always dreamed of playing here. I also didn't want to travel far from home, so this was perfect for me!
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
I always pray during the national anthem before the game starts. Doing this makes me feel like the game is in God's hands. Games are important to me, and I want to pray over all the players and myself before we start.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My grandma is always there for me and is always pushing me to be the best I can be and to work as hard as I can so that I continue to get better. She has always been my biggest supporter and continues to be.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
When my team and I won the state championship in volleyball my freshman year!
If you picked your jersey/uniform number, why is that number important to you?
I’ve always had the same number since I was a kid.
Do you have any relatives who are playing or have played college or professional sports? (Names, relation to you, what/where they played)?
My mom, Katie Bigham, played softball at Liberty University. My sister, Eden Bigham, is a senior who currently plays softball at the University of Virginia.
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
I don't usually eat breakfast, but if I do it would be a sausage biscuit. For lunch I like to eat a sandwich or Chick-fil-A. For dinner, I love eating steak and fries.
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
Snapchat
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
Taking walks or going hiking.
Do you have any current pets (name and type of animal)?
I have four dogs: Luna, Gia, Cora, and Opie. I also have four chickens.
