What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
Liberty University was the right fit for me because it aligned with my goals academically, athletically, and spiritually. The family atmosphere, competitive softball program, and supportive coaching staff made it feel like home. It gives me the opportunity to compete at a high level while growing as a student, athlete, and person.
Is there something about your life and upbringing you would consider unique?
Growing up in a coaching family has shaped who I am. My mom is a pitching instructor, and my dad coaches basketball, so I learned the value of hard work and discipline from an early age. Being a multi-sport athlete has taught me how to balance academics, athletics, and leadership.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My parents inspire me the most because of the sacrifices they have made to help me pursue my dreams. They have always supported me, encouraged me to work hard, and taught me the importance of faith, perseverance, and putting others before myself. Their example has shaped who I am both on and off the field.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
Being on the first girls team in my high school to make it to state for basketball my junior year!
If you picked your jersey/uniform number, why is that number important to you?
I chose to wear number 6 because it was the number I wore throughout travel ball, and it became a part of my identity as a player. When it was available, I was excited to continue wearing it at the next level.
Do you have any relatives who are playing or have played college or professional sports? (Names, relation to you, what/where they played)?
My mom played softball at a Division 2 university (Kentucky Wesleyan college), my step-sister is running cross-country at Georgetown College (NAIA).
Do you possess any special or unique talents, interests, or hobbies?
I enjoy building Legos in my free time, and playing pickle ball.
